Boxmaster — 3D Sokoban Puzzle

This Privacy Policy describes how Boxmaster ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our mobile application available on iOS and Android.
The App is developed and published by Khralz ("the Developer").
Boxmaster is a single-player offline puzzle game. We ourselves do not collect personal data on our own servers. The data involved falls into two groups:
We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, contacts, photos, files, microphone, or camera.
All gameplay progress (completed levels, hint balance, settings, character selection) is stored locally on your device in the App's private storage area. This data:
The App uses hints as a virtual gameplay resource that regenerates over time. Hints have no real-world monetary value, cannot be cashed out, traded, or exchanged for real money or anything of value. There is no gambling of any kind in the App.
To keep the App free, Boxmaster displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve, personalize, and measure ads, AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process the following data:
We do not sell this data. A paid option to remove advertisements may be offered in a future version; this policy will be updated accordingly if it is added.
We work with Google as our primary ad-tech vendor. Google AdMob, in turn, works with a set of additional ad partners (advertisers, measurement and verification providers). If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the first time you open the App we display a consent dialog (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) asking whether you allow personalized advertising, only non-personalized advertising, or no data sharing with ad partners beyond what is strictly necessary. We respect your choice on every device on which the App is installed.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through your device's advertising settings (see section 5.4). Uninstalling the App also clears your locally stored consent state. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
On iOS 14.5 and later, before the App or any of its partners can use your IDFA for cross-app tracking, iOS shows a system dialog asking whether you allow tracking. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Boxmaster. If you deny tracking, ads are still shown but are non-personalized.

The current version of the App does not offer in-app purchases. If in-app purchases are added in the future (for example, a paid option to remove ads), they will be processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We would not receive, store, or process any payment information (card number, billing address, etc.). This Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before any such feature is enabled.
The current version of the App does not send push notifications. If notification features are added in the future (for example, to remind you that hints have refilled), they will be scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by your operating system, with no personal content, and you will be asked for explicit permission first.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). Our ad requests are configured so that AdMob does not treat traffic from this App as directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the advertising features, contact us at the email address below and we will take appropriate steps.

The App does not integrate: Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or any other behavioral-tracking or attribution SDK beyond the AdMob advertising components described above.

The App does not request access to your microphone, camera, precise location, contacts, photos, or files.
Local game data persists on your device until you delete the App or reset progress in Settings. Advertising identifiers and ad-related event data are retained by Google and its partners according to their own retention policies (typically up to 14 months for measurement data — see the Google Advertising Policy). We do not retain advertising data on our own servers.
Local game data is protected by your device's operating-system sandbox. Advertising data is transmitted to Google over encrypted connections and handled under Google's security practices. Because we do not store personal data on our own servers, the data we hold directly cannot be breached on our side.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK/Switzerland), CCPA (California), and similar regulations, including:
Because Boxmaster stores all gameplay data locally on your device and collects no personal data on its own servers, you can exercise most of these rights directly: deleting the App or resetting progress removes all local data, and the controls in sections 5.3–5.4 govern advertising data. For advertising data held by Google, you may also exercise rights directly with Google. To contact us, use the email in section 15.
Game data is not transmitted off your device. Advertising data processed by Google AdMob may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, in accordance with Google's data-transfer safeguards described in the Google Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly if features that involve data collection (such as in-app purchases or additional services) are added or changed. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
