Privacy Policy — Bubble Words

Last updated: July 2026

Short version: Bubble Words does not collect your name, email, or any personal profile. It does not require an account. To keep the game free, it shows advertisements through Google AdMob, which — with your consent where required — uses your device's advertising identifier and related data to serve and measure ads. The game requires an internet connection to load ads.

1. Information We Collect

Bubble Words does not ask you to sign up, log in, or provide a name, email address, or any other personal detail. We do not operate our own analytics service and there is no account system. The only data that leaves your device is collected by Google AdMob in order to serve and measure advertising, as described in section 3. The data involved in this app falls into two groups:

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Your game progress (completed levels, hints/energy, and settings) is saved locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and is removed when you uninstall the app.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

To keep the game free, Bubble Words displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve, personalize, and measure ads, AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process the following data:

We do not sell this data. For more on how Google uses advertising data, see the Google Advertising Policy.

3.1 GDPR Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform, "UMP") before any ad is requested, asking whether you allow personalized advertising, only non-personalized advertising, or no data sharing with ad partners beyond what is strictly necessary. No ad loads until this form has been answered.

You can reopen this consent form at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy inside the app. Uninstalling the app clears your locally stored consent state. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

3.2 Apple App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, before the app or its advertising partners can use your IDFA for tracking, iOS shows a system App Tracking Transparency (ATT) dialog asking whether you allow tracking. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Bubble Words. If you deny tracking, ads are still shown but are non-personalized.

3.3 Opting Out of Personalized Ads at the Device Level

4. Internet Connection

Bubble Words requires an internet connection to load advertisements and the consent form described above. Without a network connection, ads may fail to load.

5. In-App Purchases

The app does not currently offer in-app purchases. If in-app purchases are added in the future, they will be processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store; we would not receive, store, or process any payment information. This policy will be updated before any such feature is enabled.

6. Children's Privacy

Bubble Words is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). Our ad requests are configured so that AdMob does not treat traffic from this app as directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the advertising features, contact us at the email address below and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Third-Party Services

The app integrates the following third-party services:

The app does not integrate Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any other behavioral-tracking or attribution SDK beyond the AdMob advertising components described above. There is no real-money gambling and no user-generated content in the app.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK/Switzerland), CCPA (California), and similar regulations, including the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, object to its processing, withdraw consent to personalized advertising at any time (see section 3.1–3.3), and lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Because Bubble Words stores all gameplay data locally on your device and collects no personal data on its own servers, you can exercise most of these rights directly: deleting the app removes all local data. For advertising data held by Google, you may also exercise rights directly with Google.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
